We have had a number of emails requesting this functionality – and here it is: sorting on resource pages.

You can now sort every section of our forum resources area by rating, votes, hits, added and name. The data is kept in session variables to keep the URL clean and allow you to keep your settings over your session and pages.

We are also working on adding pagination to the resources page as well as the ability to chnage the results shown by page.

The vBulletin team have released version 3.8.0 of vBulletin.

This release includes bug fixes, improvements, changes plus a number of new features. Highlights of this new version include:

• Social group discussions
• Quick edit for visitor messages and picture comments
• Private message throttling (limit messages sent over a time period)
• Private message reporting
• Thread prefix permissions
• Dismissible notices
• Profile privacy

Those wishing to stick to the 3.7.x series should update to 3.7.5 which was also released last week. This update contains a number of bug and security fixes.

Awesome Styles is currently working on adding free vBulletin styles to our website

Awesome styles has been running for around 6 months now and we’ve decided it already could do with a little makover, and we’ve started with the style page.

This section is the most viewed part of the website – and why wouldn’t it be? It’s where you can download, rate, preview and comment on all the wonderful designs hosted here.

The first change is the size of the screenshot. A lot people asked for bigger preview images and now you have them! The new images on the style page is 550px wide. However at the moment only a number of styles have a larger image but we’re working on the rest! All new and updated styles will get their images up ASAP whilst older styles are at the back of queue.

We’ve also moved the download, preview and information sections to the right of the image. These have been made bigger, easier to spot and frankly nicer looking then the previous blue boxes.

The other change is the comments section, every comment how has the same background colour, and the author layout has moved from the top to below the comment.

There are also new images through the site.
