It’s the users that make any website and Awesome Styles is no exception. We’re looking to hear what you all think about our website, the design, functionality and the content. More importantly we want to know what you think needs to be improved!

You can send us your thoughts, no matter how long or short, good or bad to us either via our online contact form or our parent’s feedback form

Whether it be as minor gripe as the size of padding on one HTML element or the belief we’re not providing enough content we want to know!

Thanks!

ForumArena, a free phpBB forum host, has had a massive loss of data resulting in all hosted forums becoming inaccessible. The free forum host hosted over 13,000 free forums with nearly 2 million posts across their network.

A thread in their partner’s host support forum blames the loss of data on an ‘error on the disk of the server’. According to the support staff the database and all backups have been corrupted and it is highly unlikely any of the forums will work in the near future. All hosted forums currently display an error message along with a chatbox to allow members to commuicate.

Board owners who bought ad free boards and premium upgrades are able to request a refund or start a new board at ForumWise.

Those looking for somewhere to start their forum up again may wish to check our our free forum hosting resource pages which lists a number of free forum hosts.

The Style Of The Month (SOTM) for February has been given to the Pro_ubuntu by Ishimaru Design

Pro_ubuntu style preview

Pro_ubuntu phpBB3 style

This is a great new phpBB3 style for 3.0.4. The style is themed on the Ubuntu operating system and the accompanying community forums. The style itself is prosilver based coded with XHTML and CSS without the use of tables. A mix of brown and orange colours together with the Ubuntu logo and icons finish off a great phpBB3 style for any forum!
