The phpBB group have released the newest version of phpBB3, 3.0.9. This is a another maintenance update which brings a number of improvements to the system and lots of bug fixes. There are only a few number of new features and functionality changes meaning updating styles won’t take too long.
Among the changes, a few highlights include the usability improvements to the Moderator Contol Panel, post numbers in the View Topic pages, improved caching & spam protection as well as a few javascript improvements..

As for styles, phpBB 3.0.8 styles will – in general – continue to work on phpBB 3.0.9 installations without any major issues, you may just experience a few odd problems here and there depending on the style.

Style authors can upload new versions of their styles via the online control panel.
