Just a quick post to say you can now follow us on Twitter. On our new twitter page we’ll post the latest styles, updates and changes to the website. Plus other forum news such as updates, security warnings and releases.
With the uploading of the proRadio style for phpBB 3.0.4 by whitey5566 we now have over 200 styles on our website, the majority of which are for phpBB 3.0.4.
Furthermore we have added a number of features to our website over the last week:
I’m pleased to announce a new section on our website: the style showcase. This is a showcase of forums which are using the styles here (in their original form or otherwise). Forums can be submitted to the queue via this form.
Currently the showcase only includes phpBB3 forums but once we get our vBulletin skins section online within the next month (hopefully!) it will extend to include all vB forums too.
We have had a number of emails requesting this functionality – and here it is: sorting on resource pages.
You can now sort every section of our forum resources area by rating, votes, hits, added and name. The data is kept in session variables to keep the URL clean and allow you to keep your settings over your session and pages.
We are also working on adding pagination to the resources page as well as the ability to chnage the results shown by page.
The vBulletin team have released version 3.8.0 of vBulletin.
This release includes bug fixes, improvements, changes plus a number of new features. Highlights of this new version include:
- Social group discussions
- Quick edit for visitor messages and picture comments
- Private message throttling (limit messages sent over a time period)
- Private message reporting
- Thread prefix permissions
- Dismissible notices
- Profile privacy

Those wishing to stick to the 3.7.x series should update to 3.7.5 which was also released last week. This update contains a number of bug and security fixes.
