@lana: Absolutely! If you like, you can actually change it to your heart's content -- all that needs to be modified is a single line in the stylesheet, and you should be set with a wider (or thinner, as you prefer) body. If you're interested, take a look at the link I'm including at the end of this comment to see how it's done.

If you have any questions, or if you'd rather I tweaked it myself, I'd be glad to oblige. It's just a bit of a pain to make a minor change and have to re-upload it all, you see, so I'll wait for an answer from you before I do. ^^;

I tried as it's written but it only stretches on the right. And when I change sizes, it only changes on the right. Left margin is always the same.

Ah, here we go. I'm sorry, I'd forgotten about the fluid width aspect of the style. I did make this a while ago, so I hope you can forgive me for my forgetfulness. ^^;

In any case, it was the 'margin' value under the 'body' argument in common.css that needed to be modified. In the file linked below, I've reduced the margins from 7% of screen width to 2%, which makes for a noticeably larger reading area.

If you'd like to tweak the values further, it's just as simple as the fixed-width method I linked above, albeit under a different section of the stylesheet. Just open '/theme/common.css' and find the 'body' selector -- it should be the third one from the top. To edit the width, change the second and fourth values next to 'margin'. (A higher percentage here means wider margins, hence a smaller reading area.) For vertical margins, you can tweak the first and third values there as well.

Here's the wider version, in any case. Let me know if you'd like some other adjustments to be made :)

Very nice theme but I spot few things that you want to fix

1. The label color of radio buttons in search page
2. The content in signature space in user control panel is right justified, instead of left.
3. The link background color on hover

Suggestion:
1. Add a alternate (second) row color

@Niko: Thank you! Yes, I do plan on making more styles for phpBB. This is a fairly simple modification, not changing much more than colours and images, but I'd like to try some more complex styles eventually.


@Flint: Thanks for your feedback. I have an updated revision in the works that will be fixing some minor bugs and adding some alternate colourings to the style. I'll be sure to include the quirks you've mentioned in the next version I upload.

I can add a different shade for every other row, but it's probably not going to be included in the general release because I don't feel that it fits in with my original intent with the style. However, if you like, I'd be more than glad to send you an edition with that feature included. :)

@Flint: Oops, you're right -- I thought I'd changed the version information, but apparently not. I'll be sure to check that in the next update so that implementing revisions is easier for you guys. :)

UPDATE: I've just submitted revision 1.0.2 for approval here. Hopefully, it shouldn't take too long to reach you guys.

There haven't been many changes from 1.0.1, but I have fixed the bugs that were reported to me -- nothing major, but little tweaks here and there that should make the style a bit more functional for users.

I've also included a basic PM notification system at the request of a user. At this point, it's just a box that appears in the overall header when a user has a new or unread message in their inbox; nothing terribly advanced, but eventually I'd like to develop the idea a bit more into something more aesthetically appealing. That isn't at the top of my priorities right now, though, so we'll see how things go.

Finally, I should mention that at the request of a user, I've made a variant of the style in a full-width format -- that is to say, one that occupies roughly 98% to 99% of screen width. One of my next question is whether you will be making any subsilver2 based themes because there is a really nice chatbox I would like to integrate however, I cannot because ProSilver files are somewhat different to SubSilver2 files and it would be a great help if you could make a subsilver2 based theme.

I do plan on making more styles, but the ones I have lined up at the moment are prosilver-based -- I just find it's a cleaner and easier base to work with than subsilver2.
